♥ TERABITHIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :D

- we use biodegradeble materials such as cardboard, ice-cream sticks and a wooden box.
- some reuse materials were cotton wool, straws and cans
- the slide is made up of cans and plastic bottles. We re-use it by washing it and cutting it into the shapes that we want.
Playground designs/concepts that are linked to the novel
- the pets in our model (terrapins and rabbits) represents the pet dog given to Leslie by Jess during Christmas. This gave the children a companion which is the same for Leslie.
- there is also a drawing corner for the kids to doodle around in our playground as Jess loves drawing.
- the swing in our playground represents the times when Leslie and Jess swings on the swing happily.
Playground designs/concepts that meet the special needs of the children
- the drawing corner are for the children to express their emotions by drawing and colouring on it.
- the pets are companions for them because they might feel lonely and need someone to accompany them. They are also not totally exposed the the surroundings so pets are very rare to them.
- The tunnel of love is situated at the entrance so that once they step into the playground, they would feel encouraged and not feel scared to play the playground.
- The pool of balls located below the slide is to make them have a sense of security and not let them fall without any sense of security.
